In 1990 the Goodwill of the Finger Lakes' mission, Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI), began manufacturing self-stick notes through a partnership with 3M. We have since expanded our operations to produce office products, janitorial supplies, workplace safety solutions and uniforms for the US Military.

The partnership propelling our mission statement of providing empowerment and opportunities to those with barriers to independence.

Since 1990, our organization has produced millions of Self-Stick note pads, flags, page markers and easel pads. Thanks to this partnership, hundreds of job opportunities became available in our South Clinton Avenue headquarters for those with visual impairment.

DYMO Labeling Solutions partnered with Goodwill of the Finger Lakes in 2016. Together we created new packaging opportunities within our agency and brought labeling solutions to the federal market. Since our partnership began we've been able to add 21 items to our DYMO SKILCRAFT product line. All of our Dymo SKILCRAFT products are packaged in Rochester, NY by individuals with barriers to employment.

In May 2021 we began our partnership with Mobile Pixels in Boston Massachusetts to offer their iconic portable external monitors that complement mobile work, entertainment on the go and everything in between.

We have worked closely with our partner Meterpak to offer a selection of their most popular cleaning chemicals and other formulations custom made for Goodwill of the Finger Lakes. All XLD cleaning supplies are made using bio-based ingredients offering a greener solution that is easy on the environment, safe to use and highly effective. All products are packaged in Rochester, NY by individuals with barriers to employment.

We partnered with Zing Green Safety Products to bring environmentally friendly safety compliance products to the federal market. Our SKILCRAFT Lockout/Tagout and Global Harmonization Systems (GHS) are sorted and packaged at our main campus in Rochester, NY and distributed by companies like Grainger, MSC Industrial Direct and Noble Supply and Logistics.
