You wouldn’t know it by looking at the picture but this area used to be 4 separate offices where 8 employees once sat working hard to grow sales, increase production and create new employment opportunities for people with barriers to independence. Those efforts and the hard work of everyone at Goodwill of the Finger Lakes has led to an expansion of our sewing production area. Once construction is complete we will be adding a Talon 75x Cutting System which will give our sewing department the capability of cutting up to 3” of compressed fabric or many other materials. We’re very excited about the expansion of our sewing operation, the potential employment growth and the future partnership opportunities this could bring to our agency.
